The Maersk Liner Graduate Programme is a two-year programme that will consist of two job rotations plus MLGP Educational Support and Developmental Support.Depending on the needs of the recruiting location, a different educational discipline will be targeted in order to target the talent pipeline that location is aiming to fill. The rotations will be chosen in order to give you the best possible insight to both your function and the business and always with the aim of maximising your developmental opportunities.Your peers will come with a wide range of educational backgrounds and will represent all functions as well as over 20 different geographies globally. There will be a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration throughout both the seminars and your daily work.All participants will be allocated a Talent Partner and a manager from your main function to guide your personal development throughout both the programme and for the two years post completion of the programme.The MLGP Curriculum The primary aim of the curriculum is to ensure an aligned understanding of our core business and our industry regardless of which part of the business you are based in. It ensures an up to date holistic view of the industry by partnering with industry experts. During this time you will continue to hone your skills and excel in a challenging job role. The international assignment aims to accelerate your development, grow your business and market knowledge, and deepen your cross-cultural experience – all core essentials for a Maersk Line leader. In addition to this, you will broaden both your global network and cultural understanding.The ultimate ambition is that, upon return, you can take on more responsibilities and contribute more within your given area of expertise. For this reason, the additional developmental support provided to participants during the programme will extend another two years.
