- We are looking for a candidate with a real interest in the banking industry and motivated to work in our offices in Barcelona who can join us for a period of 3 months. In this position you will need to work under pressure, meeting demanding deadlines and handle several tasks at the same time. As an intern in our Corporate Banking division you will assist the team in the preparation of materials to be presented to our corporate clients, including CFOs and Group Treasurers of the most important Spanish multinational companies, and internal projects and daily operations. Daily activities of an intern include: – Providing support in the preparation of client materials and meetings (trading and transaction comparables, client and competitor analysis, industry insights and trends, etc.) – Management and coordination of due diligence processes – Performing comparative analysis of companies or sectors – Undertaking historical analysis of companies’ financials or capital markets’ performance – Research tasks on specific companies or sector trends – Provide support to the Spanish team in our daily transactions

Applicant description

– Knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals – Deep understanding of accounting rules and principles, knowing how to apply them in particular cases – Proficient usage of Excel and Power Point – Fluent in both English and Spanish – Strong analytical and problem solving skills
