Business Development – targeting specific industry sectors, working on the generation of databases, contacting new potential clients through lead generation, prospect incentive strategy and telesales. Dealing with account management support, management of new or existing clients, credit control and working on marketing materials. Account Management – targeting specific industry sectors, working on the generation of databases, prospect incentive strategy and telesales; dealing with account management support, management of new or existing clients; creating prospects and proposals for companies, daily tracker and dealing with private clients by email and by phone.   Finance – checking and processing linguist bills, purchase ledger processing, general bookkeeping, payment file preparation, filing of post and confirmation of banking details. Translation – contacting linguists for translation projects, allocating translation projects, assisting the project manager in coordinating both large and small projects, formatting, reviewing, and working with various software that aid project management. These tasks are dependent on individual capabilities, experience and attitude at work. Interpretation – contacting linguists for interpretation projects, allocating interpretation projects, assisting the project manager in coordinating both large and small projects and negotiating rates with new suppliers. Project Analysis – dealing with documents, calculating the price for the translation, amending quotes, rechecking the documents/information about the translation request, checking 2 column formats and finish the job order, verifying the amount of words for the linguist, creating translation memories.   Software Development – data knowledge of mainstream technologies (PHP, HTML), website design and content, database programming, management and helping with general office IT maintenance. Tasks dependent on individual capabilities, experience and attitude at work. HR – organisation of intern arrival and departure schedules, sourcing new interns, coordination of multiple intern application from initial enquiry, to arrival, and coordination of staff interviews and reviews. Linguist – assisting with translation projects, proofreading, learning about new CAT Tools, assisting more senior members of staffs and contacting linguist/helping project management if required. Digital Marketing – targeting new business through the use of online advertising and search engine optimisation (SEO); driving quotation rates and the driving of traffic to our website. Quality Assurance - ensuring that the final linguistic product observed the company's quality standards, preventing mistakes and defects in translation products and avoiding problems when delivering our translation projects to customers.
