Descrição da oferta Jones Lang LaSalle, Spain, are looking to recruit a young and enthusiastic individual into their established, Madrid based, Technology Support team as a trainee support engineer. The team currently provides IT support to approximately four hundred JLL employees across Spain and the business is growing on a continuous basis. This new position reflects the businesses desire to develop and grow talent from within and will be a first for Technology Support.
The Technology Support team has an evolving role of supporting the business across a wide portfolio of all things technology. Though their primary objective is the delivery of first class IT support to all members of staff, they also engage with projects and are broadening their service portfolio wherever their technical skills and know-how can be of a positive benefit to the business.
This is a trainee role and JLL would look internally and externally to resource the technical education and development of the selected candidate. Members of the existing team would mentor, coach and guide the new recruit, particularly through the first twelve to eighteen months. There will be a strong emphasis upon seeking a strong ‘team player’ willing to contribute as well as develop.
Travel within Spain and potentially to Portugal will be necessary and there will be occasions when working outside of normal office hours will be required. Candidates for the role should consider the commitment required of working within a highly motivated, professional services organization that has the highest expectations of its core IT infrastructure and business applications.
Initially, as a new starter within the business, the primary objective will be to familiarize with the business, it’s shape and structure, it’s operations and functions, it’s key resources and it’s goals and targets.
As a trainee Technology Support engineer the focus for technical development will be:
• the provision of face to face support as well as over the telephone, email, etc.
• learning to remotely troubleshoot hardware and software faults, etc.
• gaining an understanding of the administration of network user rights and permissions, etc.
• getting to terms with the IT equipment inventory database,
• learning how to monitor and report license status for all IT equipment.
• learning to support the MS environment , Active Directory, etc.
• delivering the JLL IMAC service.
• troubleshooting on the JLL network LAN/WAN environment.
• working alongside Technology Support team colleagues to ensure SLA’s are achieved and service quality and client expectations are met or exceeded;
• learning how to work methodically and to follow procedures that have been developed for the benefit of the corporate business.
Descrição do candidato University degree, preferably in Computer Science .
English BILINGUAL, good written and spoken communication skills
It would be very useful if the candidate has some previous IT Support experience.
It is essential that the candidate has a good knowledge of IT terminology and the basics of IT infrastructure. Any previous working experience with the Microsoft range of corporate products and solutions would be of great benefit (Windows 7, Office 2010). Any work experience with IT projects of any description would be well received.
Team player with good all-round communications skills / capabilities.
